Editor and Founder of Utopian Editing

I bring over twenty years of writing and editing experience—and a lifetime love of reading—to your project. Before launching my career as a freelance editor, I created a YouTube channel devoted to English lessons, taught high school and college English, tutored writing, and worked as a paralegal. I earned my MA in English from the University of Texas at Arlington and am a member of ACES, the Society for Editing.

Although I have a particular fondness for science fiction, fantasy, and dystopian novels, I work with manuscripts in most genres, including action/thriller, mystery, and young adult fiction.

I live in Texas with my husband, sons, mother and a veritable menagerie of pets, including a brave little tripod cat.
